Where Indian engineering freshers actually see live off-campus drives - official careers pages, NQT windows, and verified lists. What to ignore.

An off-campus drive is a company hiring window you apply to yourself, not through your college placement cell. In 2026 the reliable sources are the employer’s careers site, named tests such as TCS NQT, and boards that link to those official URLs. Paid Telegram “registration” forms are not drives.
Where drives actually show up

Campus placement and off-campus can overlap. The same NQT window may be “campus” for one college and “open” for you.
A weekly loop that does not explode
- Open fresher jobs and the 4–5 careers sites you care about.

- Log it in the tracker.
- Same week, sit the matching prep: what is an OA, then aptitude or DSA.
Do not maintain 15 Telegram groups as your “source of truth.”
What is not a drive
- A Google Form that charges to “register you at TCS”
- A spreadsheet with company names and no URL
- Recycled “1000+ off-campus openings” PDFs with last year’s dates
After you find one
Read eligibility (YOP, backlog, gap years) on that notification. Then practise the filter: quantitative for services firms, data structures if the mail says coding.

A time-boxed apply + OA window posted by the company (or its official test brand). If there is no careers URL and no official mail, it is not a drive.
Are TCS NQT and InfyTQ off-campus drives?
They can be. When TCS or Infosys open a public qualifier, applying on their site is off-campus. Campus cells may also push the same test.
How often should I check?
Twice a week on official careers + one curated list is enough. Daily WhatsApp PDFs mostly recycle old links.
Do I need a referral to see the drive?
No. Referrals help after a real requisition exists. You can apply to public drives without one.
