TCS NQT 2026 - syllabus, pattern, and how to prepare

What TCS NQT is

TCS uses NQT as a common qualifier for many India graduate roles. A good score can unlock interviews for more than one TCS business unit, depending on that season’s process.

Confirm dates, eligibility (degree, year of passing, arrears, gap years) on the official TCS careers / NextStep page for the drive you are targeting.

Typical pattern

TCS has used several formats. A common recent shape:

Section names and timers vary. If a recruiter mail lists a different pattern, follow that mail.

How to prepare (4 weeks)

1. Week 1–2 - daily quant + reasoning quizzes at fresher level.
2. Week 3 - add coding: 3–5 easy problems a day (arrays/strings).
3. Week 4 - timed mocks only. Review wrong answers; don’t grind new topics.

Use how levels work if you are unsure whether to start at Fresher or Intermediate.

After the test

Shortlists go to interviews (technical + managerial / HR). Keep a tracker of every TCS mail and slot. Browse fresher jobs if you are applying to other companies in parallel.
